Privacy policy

This policy explains what Budge collects when you ask for a price or book a job, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

What we collect

When you use our quote form, text us or call us, we collect what you give us:

• Your name, mobile number and, if you add it, your email address
• ZIP codes for the pickup and drop-off
• Job details, such as the service, the size of the place, what's going, dates and any notes
• Photos you upload or text us
• Whether you are booking for a business, and what kind

We also collect a small amount of technical information:

• A scrambled, one-way version of your IP address, used only for a short time to stop spam and repeat submissions. We never store the IP address itself.
• Anonymous page statistics, such as which pages are visited. This does not use cookies and does not identify you.

Why we use it

• To give you a price, schedule your job and do the work
• To contact you about your quote and job the way you asked (text, call or email)
• To follow up after the job, including a short review request if you agreed to texts
• To keep our business records and meet legal and tax requirements
• To keep the site safe from spam and abuse

We do not use your information for advertising and we do not use ad tracking pixels.

Who helps us handle it

We use a few service providers to run the site and our business. They process your information for us, under our instructions, and only to provide their service:

• Website hosting, server logs and anonymous page statistics (Vercel)
• Email delivery, including the photos you attach to a quote (Resend)
• Our text message provider

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, our crew or our customers.

How long we keep it

If you ask for a price and do not book, we delete your request and photos within 24 months. If you book a job, we keep your details as long as we need them for the job and for our business, tax and legal records.

Text messages

If you check the box on our form, you agree to get text messages about your quote and job, including a quick review request after the job. We do not send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply, and how often we text depends on your job. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

Reply STOP at any time to stop getting texts, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop by any of the ways listed under Contact us.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to:

• Know what personal information we have about you and how we use it
• Get a copy of it
• Ask us to delete it
• Ask us to correct it if it is wrong
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you can still ask.

We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will confirm it is you by matching the phone number or email you gave us, and we will reply within 45 days. You can also have an authorized agent make a request for you.

Keeping it safe

Your quote request is sent to us by email, with any photos attached, and a copy is kept in our hosting provider's server logs. Both providers use encryption and access controls. No system is perfect, but we work to protect what you share with us.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. See also our terms of service.
